Lion and Dual MonitorsPosted: June 14, 2011
Seems Lion doesn’t play well with multiple monitors, at least not yet. Macgasm reports that taking an app fullscreen will render the second monitor useless, only displaying the now-ubiquitous linen wallpaper. If there’s no way to use multiple monitors with one of Lion’s most touted new features, power users will not be pleased. Apple doesn’t have much time to fix this, but they really should. It’s not impossible either – this similar fullscreen problem occurs in iTunes when playing a movie on a second monitor, but not in Quicktime X. Whatever they’re doing there needs to be system-wide.
